The operation of aluminium doors can be broken down into three parts:
Bottom pivot bearing and corresponding cup
If your door is scraping along the floor, has lowered in the frame or doesn't close correctly then its possible the pivot bearing located at the bottom of the door has collapsed, bent or become too corroded to operate.
Top arm
The top arm of aluminium doors is the part that fits into the closing mechanism located in the frame. If this has become worn your door may not shut fully or become loose in the frame.
Door closer
The door closer on an aluminium door ensures that the closing and latching speeds of the door are kept in check and allows for adjustments to be made to those speeds. If your door closer has failed a common sign would be slamming of the door against the frame, either when closing or latching.
Often but not always, another telltale sign of a failed door closer is the presence of oil around the top of the door.

Security
The roller shutter doors we provide are of a high quality and always fit with security in mind, using secure fixings at multiple key points. This makes them a highly effective barrier against would-be intruders.
We always assess the security requirements in respect to the application of the roller shutter. From there we can determine any potential points of weakness that may need to be strengthened using further measures outlined below.

Operation
Roller shutter doors can be made to operate either manually or with a motor. A hand chain counterbalanced with a tensioned spring for manual.
Or motorised using either a (single phase 240V) tubular motor or a (3 phase 400V) direct drive or chain driver fit with anti-fall safety breaks.

Operation
The door is hoisted via a system of cables, springs and motorised force, controlled via a control box fitted in a convenient place.
The door can be manipulated into running vertically so the door is flat against the opening or horizontally depending on the amount of room available and practicality.
Safety
Sectional door motors come with bottom safety edges, depending on requirements extra safety beams can be added.
Design
Aesthetically, sectional doors have the capability to blend in with all types of modern buildings and are available in a wide range of stock colours. There is also the option to customise your own colour (prices vary) and different texture finishes are available.

Remote controls: Handheld remote controls. Can be fit into the drivers cab of forklifts and other industrial machinery.

Operation
Roller Garage Doors are designed to roll up into a box usually positioned on the inside of the garage. Unlike sectional doors and retractable garage doors, there are no tracks or parts that protrude into the opening, allowing for better space utilization. The box is unobtrusive and comes with a full hood option designed in mind of insulation.
Operation of the door is available via remote and manual override in case of power failure. There is also a control box located on the inside of the garage.
Security and Safety
Manufactured from tough twin walled aluminium slats with a strong extruded top slat combined with a unique locking mechanism offers resilient resistance to any would-be intruders.
The doors also come with a courtesy light and built-in 105 db alarm system.
To effectively minimise damage to the door, objects, persons and pets the bottom is fitted with a safety edge. The safety edge is capable of detecting obstructions, allowing it to return open, avoiding injury and/or damage.
Operation
Sectional doors offer a sleek and modern finish for any garage door, providing there is enough unobstructed headroom to allow the sections to return along the motorized boom.
The sectional panels are pulled up along tracks either side of the door which then recede into the opening.
Doors can be manual or motorised with a remote control.
Insulation
Having a well-insulated garage door is recommended when the garage and home are directly connected.
Double skinned options are available as well as ThermoFrame connections that create a thermal break between the frame and the brickwork, improving thermal insulation by up to 15%.
Application
Security Grilles are an unobtrusive, effective way of protecting your premises.
Grilles are often fit when other security products such as roller shutters aren't necessarily ideal for the application. They are made to measure and are suitable for any property looking to improve security, including domestic, commercial or industrial applications.
Grills are always fit inside a property over potential entrance points such as windows and doors.
Depending on the entrance point, when shut they are visible from the outside and work as a great deterrent.
Security and design
Security Grilles offer a robust, effective level of protection and work as a great deterrent against would-be intruders.
The lattices come in two different designs featuring a cross design and an S lattice design.
The grills lock together in the middle using a supplied set of keys (more are available at extra cost).
The side slam bars, bottom and top tracks are also fixed. Once the grills are shut the chances of intruders gaining access is extremely slim due to the strength of the grill itself and lack of effective prying points.
Operation
Security Grilles use wheels to run along a rail usually fixed to the ceiling as well as a rail at the bottom of the grille.
The bottom rail can either be fixed down or left unfixed. Being unfixed allows the user to move the rail out of the way once the Grilles has been opened and doesn't affect the security of the Grille due to the way the leaves lock together when shut.
Once shut they leaves can be locked together with a key and opened again by unlocking and sliding apart with ease.

Operation
Rapid self-repairing roll-up doors are the technological evolution of old PVC stripes or folding doors, which turned out to be inappropriate for the needs requests. They are highly functional, safe, quick and resistant.
These types of rapid doors are curtain closures made of a perimeter structure in a galvanized steel U-shape designed to accommodate the sliding of the cloth by door latch and self-lubricating guides. They are maintenance-free thanks to the top roller which aids in the collection of the cloth.
All our roll-up self-repairing doors without rigid elements are controlled by a control panel powered by 220 v single-phase inverter control and are designed for an intensive continuous service.
In the range of rapid roll-up doors, we are able to develop sized doors with a high degree of insulation using insulated cloth.Application
High speed doors can be applied to meet many different specifications.
Speed doors are ideal for situations where constant access is required. The intelligently designed fast action motor and barrel allow for frequent use and quick access improving on heat loss and costs.
The maximum size on flexible roll-up self-repairing doors are;
a width of 8 metres, a height of 7 metres and are wind resistant.

Ventilated Doors

If vandalism is a risk then textured powder coating is available, making removing graffiti a simple task. Ventilated Steel Doors come with vermin protection, anti-vandal measures and louvred skin to increase air flow.
Canopy:
These garage doors open along vertical tracks. In the closed position, there are no rails or tracks protruding horizontally into the opening. When they are open, around one-third of the door hangs out of the opening creating a canopy.
Retractable:
Retractable garage doors open along tracks that protrude horizontally into the opening. Unlike the Canopy, they retract fully into the opening. These are a better option for motorized assistance as the door is stronger due to the extra rail support.
